I started the Nutrisystem diet back on 4-9-07 (12 weeks ago) and as of today I have lost 31 pounds. And that was even after going on vacation for 1 week and gaining 4 pounds (yes, I'm a pig, that's why I'm on a diet), which I already re-lost, so technically I've lost 35, but total weight loss is 31.

The food isn't that bad and I'm a really picky eater.

Check it out - www.nutrisystem.com - all I know is it has worked for me.

I sure hope the quality of the provided food from NutriSystems has improved over the years... Some time ago a friend of mine went on the diet as part of a radio promotion (he got the system for free in exchange for his ongoing testimonies on the morning show, etc.), and the incredients lists on each package were astoundingly bad! Hardly worthy of the category "food"...!! It was hideous. And the prices on the food were outrageous. Again, I hope they've improved the quality. The concept is a good one for keeping a tight eye on one's meal content and calories, but the FOOD VALUE of the meals has to be good or malnutrition can set in fast.

Congrats on your weight loss thus far, though. Like MOST diet regimes, if you do them properly and stick to them, they DO CAUSE WEIGHT LOSS. Keep up the good work. B)

Eating a little less, and exercising a little more really helps too. :)

Nutrisystem will leave you malnourished, make sure you supplement, My wife was on it awhile, maybe 6 weeks, her fingernails and hair got brittle. Something lacking in there.
