I know we don't run Fixed Time stages much...too bad.
We ran the 'Hoser' classifier this past weekend.
Doing the scores this morning...I found that having the "misses" box in EZ was a problem waiting to happen.
9.2.4.5 Fixed Time courses of fire do not incur failure to shoot at or
miss penalties.
After I got all the shooter's scores entered for that stage, I had to go back through each and every one to ensure that I didn't accidentally post their NPM's into the "misses" box.

I've never thought of it before, but eliminating the penalty Mike boxes *would* make sense. If they don't apply, no reason to have them in the scoring panel for FT stages.
Speed IS a tactic (and a pretty damn good one, too! )

Wouldn't that be sweet!!
We ran Baseball Standards last week---I knew the mikes were NPM, so did the stats
person, and we STILL got a few entered as penalty misses. It's just so automatic.
Shouldn't take much----if a stage/classifier is set up as "fixed time" in Setup>Stages,
it should remove the penalty miss box in the "enter scores" area.
Maybe they fixed it in version 3.0???? I haven't done the upgrade yet so I don't know.

No, it didn't.
I got some other stuff to talk to Roger and Rob about in 3.0 after it's major match maiden voyage with the Area 6 Championship (330 competitors, 3 computers, 11 stages, including baseball standards).
