Our club is starting to run USPSA matches this Spring, and I want to get some tools together to setup stages. What are some of the things that you find in your tool kit?
Thanks

Couple of things quickly..
Mandatory
Good gloves
Hammer ( and 3-3.5" nails 16p?)
Staple Gun
10" Adjustable wrench - to calibrate poppers
Cordless drill
Strong, good quality 3" screws - they go in, they gotta come out
for wood to wood, barrels to wood, etc..
bike tire pump (we have a cart to haul poppers around, but the tires leak)
Lineman pliers
bailing wire
Things people have, I don't but needed:
cable, or good parashute cord - for activators
selection of eye bolts
Range has:
cart - moving heavy stuff from bay to bay
small handheld 2" hammers
Something to pound in those big 3' spikes to hold barriers up
pry bar
Helpfull
Recripicating saw - the Uzi of power tools!

Long measuring tape for setting up classifiers.
Line marking paint.
Steel cable or chain for activators. Quicklinks to join them
Reel of yellow Nylon rope for fencing stuff off-- don't use for activators since it stretches too much
Friendly gamer to review stages and look for holes.
Pen to mark up stage diagrams based on gamer input.

A good quality toolbelt!
Shovel, only one needed, but you got to be able top level poppers.

We do most of the work with a cordless drill/driver and a good hammer.
I like a 16oz hammer, or heavier ...I prefer a "rip" hammer over a "claw" hammer. (makes it easier to pull spikes)
I've been collecting 5 gallon buckets to take to the range, to hold spikes and such so that we can spread them out as the stages are getting setup (sucks have to run from bay to bay to find the "spike bucket").
I've got a battery powered saws-all that comes in handy. I've used it (at home) to cut down barrels.
And, I've used it to cut target sticks from 8ft into 5ft and 3ft sections. The saws-all is handy to have at the range, but I don't take it to the monthly matches often.
100ft tape measure or three.
Staple guns...enough so that every stage has their own...plus a few spares.
