Is the Novak adjustable rear sight as tall as the Dawson adj. rear sight? I need to raise the point of aim and already have a .170 tall Dawson front fiber optic front and really don't want to change it. If the Novak is not as tall it should work for me. Thanks.

Remember you adjust the Novak left to right with a hammer.

there is a picture on the brownells site comparing the stock to the novak adjustable. the novak is quite a bit higher than stock. they also said you may need something in the .250 range to have it work

The Dawson rear on my MP9 Pro came with a high .305 tall front. With POA/POI the rear sights is over .100 high meaning that the front could be made lower which I would prefer. I find having so much real estate from the bottom of the rear notch to the top of the front sight is distracting and at times takes longer when engaging multiple disappearing sub second targets. I like a front sight where the bottom of the rear notch is at the base of the front site when the tops are aligned. It is fastest for me.

In my application I'm looking to change to a .200 - .245 high front hoping it would lower the rear sight farther to the slide and still allow for adjustment in both directions.
