I just snagged this from my uncle for $ 100 bucks, from cimarron 1911-A1. I remember when he got it. He had won it from a raffle it was a glossy black finish but from the picture you can see he did not appreciate a replica of the original 100 year model 1911' s he tried to remove the finish and did a crappy job. I don't know much about Cimerron, only that this is there 1st make of the 1911 and that it pushes 230 gr and grouping is about 4 inches(I'm sure it will do better. If any one can share some info on cimerron and my new toy please feel free to respond I am also looking to refinish or restore what do you think?

For $100.00 and it goes bang, you got a good deal. I'd just shoot it for awhile until you can really decide what you want to do to it.

Outstanding deal for $100! If it's mine I'll make it into a decent SS Division player. Meaning, without spending outrageous money I'll get a new barrel fitted, sights, drop-in trigger kit and a magwell.
