The left hand string on thos one just ate my lunch. Open, 84 points, 15.42, seconds, 5.4475 hf. Over 6 seconds on string three. Yuck.
Train attention inefficiently, and that error will compound itself under pressure.

Shot it today, Beretta for both runs.

Prod - 84 points in 13.05. Dropped way too many C's, it's real easy to get ahead of yourself on this one.

Open - 87 points in 13.28 with 1 mike. Had a pretty good run going, flubbed reload on first string cost me a half second. Mike is a total mystery, I called it a hit so I dunno what happened.

Just figured out the HHF for Prod and it looks like it will come in around 87%. A few more A's and that would have easily been in the mid to high 90's.

Argh. :(

I shot this earlier this month with my CZ. 86points in 18.73 for 4.59HF. I was not unhappy being that I'm unclassified in production and only a lowly C in L10.

I shot this in today's match and had a miss and a slowwwww time for a HF = 3.2903. Then I reshot it and did a little better:

Limited 10

96 points
0 penalties
total time = 21.45 seconds (7.8, 7.91, 5.74)

HF = 4.4755

I think I was too conservative on string one. String three was about right given how wobbly & weak my left shoulder is. I could improve on string two with about five minutes of practice, I think.

For those who need a hit factor and percentage to calculate their percentage, my 4.4755 came out to 51.7722% in Limited 10.

Dang Ron, sweet run bro!

This is not the easiest classifier. ;)

Looks like your run will come in right around 89%.

You da man. ;)

When you get a chance, shoot me an email with your major match schedule next year. We should try and squad up.

Shot this today. Kept hesitating on string 1 at the first reload, almost went to strong-hand only each time with each gun.

This was my very first Classifier:

Unclassified
Limited-10: Springfield XD-40 Tactical
89 Points
10 Penalties
24.49s Time
3.2258 Hit Factor
61.36% for that match
37.3158% Using http://ohiouspsa.com.../percentage.php

The saddest part was the miss was during the freestyle segment of the second string. During the weak hand only string I managed all 5s, slowly but all 5’s.

Next match will have CM 03-03 Take 'em Down. I'm looking forward to it.

I had to include Taran and Michael so you can get an idea of the best runs in a match compared to the database high hit factor.

I'm no great shakes from a surrender draw, my reload isn't that good, my weak hand accuracy sucks, but damn. My run wasn't that bad.

Taran's run is ~99.5%, nationally.

So I'm jinxed on this classifier. I've shot it three times and had jams all three times. First time I shot it was with my Open gun when I first started loading for it. Stuck round... ugly. Came back 53%.

Then I shot it Limited at the Silver Buckle (for score). Twice on the strong-hand string during the freestyle portion I had the hammer fall to half-cock when I pulled the trigger (at least that's what it sounded like). I think this one is coming back at ~48-49% (can't get to the A2 sight to check what my HF was).

I also paid an extra $3 to reshoot it in Open at the match. Freestyle string I had two jams and just stared at the gun for a second after the second one... then did the reload. That one will come back as 55%. Oh joy.

Yeah... definitely hexed.

Shot this today with Alpha-Mike in San Antonio. Not at all pleased with myself. It was the last and worst stage of the match for me. These are exactly the skills I've been working on in dry fire with some success and I choked on match day.

83 pts (includes one Mike)
7.11
7.35
5.84
should be about 47.3% nationally

I hesitated on the reload on string 1 like I was going to forget to do it. My first weak hand shot was a Mike then I didn't let the trigger reset for the last shot weak hand. I've never ever done that before. I don't know how long it took me to mentally tell myself "Crap, release the trigger, Stupid" but by then it was moot. I'd already blown the classifier.

1 Warren, Erik GM Limited 94 0 14.95 6.2876 100.0000 100.00%

Nothing special about that run. Yanked a strong hand shot, but strangely kept the weak hand shots in or near the A zones. Interesting: same time and one more point than the other time I shot it, last year.
