I have more glock mags than you and I don't even own a glock any more.

hahahaha. fair enough. Thanks everyone for your input. Keeping them all now.

Hello,

I just came up a great deal on some used magazines at 10/each. I purchased 14 of them but I dont know if I should sell some since I dont know if i'll be using all of them. A voice inside my head is telling me not to sell them because what is the worst that can happen with 14 magazines.

I was just wondering how many magazines do other glock owners own?

5-10? 10-15? 15+?

-Daniel

The worse thing that could happen with that many mags.....is having to load them all at once! Poor Thumbs! :roflol:

What do you think about one of those Uplula loaders? Do those help?

Want to sell any? :)

I think I'm going to keep them for now. hahaha

I don't use a loader. I never have any problem stuffing 10 rounds into 17/15 round magazines. My point was there is NO downside to tons and tons of magazines.

Aw yes but try loading a big stick Taylor with 24 rounds of 40 or an Arrendodo with 20, then an Uplula is appreciated. As for the number to have, I believe it should be an individual budget decision.

my shooting buddies think I have an issue with too many mags.
Currently have 61 - either 9mm or 40 in both 10 rounders and hi caps.

I would buy more if the deal is great.

If you don't have enough to last you the rest of your life ... plus a few spares.

You don't have enough.

That's rifle AND pistol....

I'm running a dozen mags just so I have less loading sessions and more patching to help speed up the stage..

I like to have at least 10 for every gun no matter what. If its a competition gun, I like to have 20 so that I can make it through an entire match without reloading mags if possible.

My standard is the same amount of magazines in dollars as the firearm costs. So for my glock 21 ($500ish, what I paid for it) at my acceptable price of $20 a magazine, that means my ideal is 25 magazines. I am at 9 now. Granted I will have three weapons that can use the magazines though, a kriss super v, glock 21 and glock 30.

For my AR that breaks down to about 90 mags (not including the price of the optic). Got a ways to go for that one too.

Food for thought,

JP5
