Sorry for being a pain, but I saw a reply in here on another post & it is 124gr MG JHP 4.1gr N320 1.10 OAL.
I'm loading 125gr Topscore projectile 3.8 AP70N 1.12 OAL.
The question I have is what is the difference between 4.1gr N320 to 3.8gr AP70N ?
& remeber that I live in Australia.
cheers

HI Guys,

I did a search for AP70N and found a store called Gun City in New Zealand - they describe AP70N as a "medium burning rate handgun powder and an effective slow/medium burning rate shotgun powder".
N320, by Vihtavuouri (Finland) is one of their faster burning powders, though not their fastest. I was hoping to find some sort of burn-rate chart that included powders of both manufacturers so you could compare the relative burn-rates of the two, but I came up empty. I did find some online comments that compare AP70N with Hodgdon Universal, which is similar in burn-rate to N330, which is a bit slower burning than N320. Hope this helps.
I use the N320 load you mention in your post, and it's a nice clean, soft-shooting load that makes minor power factor easily.

ap70 is slower burning than n320. n320 is simillar (maybe a tad slower) to ap50.
i load 3.7 ap50 with topscore (lead for those that dont know) at 1.12 for my cz. or 3.8 n320.
"The question I have is what is the difference between 4.1gr N320 to 3.8gr AP70N ?"
4.1 n320 with FMJ = comfortably makes power factor
4.1 n320 with lead = hot
3.8 ap70 with FMJ = never make power factor
3.8 ap70 with lead = be close, have you chrono'd that load, cant be much if anything over 1000fps.
