Okay, I'm one of the most thrifty people I know. That said, 90% of the stuff I acquire, I buy pre-owned. For the most part one can usually find good quality, low use, clean and affordable things whether necessity or luxury. What I cannot fathom for the life of me is how someone can be so lazy that they don't even bother to wipe the dust off of the things they are selling. I've seen it all, from dirty microwaves (ad even said "too lazy to clean it"), filthy cars and trucks, dirty clothes, dirty dishes (especially pots and pans), and yes, even firearms. Being a firearms related forum, I must point out that a thoroughly cleaned and lubricated gun will sell a LOT faster at a higher price than the one that looks like it was dredged up from the bottom of the Mississippi Delta. If anything, the advantage is mine because the dirt and grime shows that you hold your crap in low regard, and therefore will take a much lower price for it. I don't mind cleaning and refurbishing to get what I want and save a few bucks. The worst is the people that have broke down filthy crap and still think it's brand new and worth a million bucks. There's just no getting through to those people, ignorance is bliss.

There is nothing so tragic as the murder of a beautiful idea, by a brutal gang of facts.
It is physically impossible for an object in motion to move in two separate directions simultaneously.
I may be slow, but I'm inaccurate.
