Got the grip mounted, and me likey.
I have large hands with chunky fingers, so pushing my pinkie finger in against the rubber of the grip forces the web of my hand up higher -- something I've really had to concentrate on when shooting revolvers of any kind. I'm a big strong guy so I've always just muscled through the recoil, but I know getting my hand higher is the right way to do it.
The fit/finish seems real good, actually much better than the other wood grip on the backstrap.
There's a small gap between the curve of the front strap and the back of the trigger guard, but no big deal.
I especially like the texture of the rubber, it almost feels velvety -- a real positive traction but not as heavily stippled as some other Hogues I've used in the past.
