Hello: Well, my truck got broken into last night in my driveway. They broke the driver side window and took my Garmin GPS and my Rudy Project Rydon sunglasses. I hate thieves  They are going to cost me some money and time just to sell my stuff for $20. The worst part is cleaning all the broken glass out. I try to keep as little as possible in my truck for this very reason but I guess it is worth the risk of going to jail for a while. I must say the police where right on it and did all the could  Thanks, Eric

:( Dude that is crappy.... All you can do is report it and try to write if off of your income tax at the end of the year. Just keep all the reciepts.

Sorry to hear that. From personal experience use the attachment with the soft brush on the shop vac. The regular tube will rip the fabric of the seat if you press down too hard due to the glass.

Eric,
The day before you came over for the powder I ran off two scum who were cutting through the top of my neighbors convertible Mustang to try and steal it. If I would have figured out what they were doing a little quicker I would have waited til one or both of them were crawling through the top and showed up with my 870. The CS's ran off as was expected.

At least it was just a Garmin & glasses. Hate it anywhere, but your own driveway makes it sting even worse.

I need to take some stuff out of my truck. I would HATE to loose what is in there but I am guessing it is a sign of the times.

Sorry for your inconvenience Eric. Let's hope someone actually catches the little (expletive deleted)

I once had the soft window in my Jeep slit. I lived in a crappy neighborhood back in my college days and I left the doors unlocked so people wouldnt damage the top trying to get in.

I really wish they had been smart enough to try the door handle before using a knife!

Sorry to hear about your truck. Someone got into my Wife's Expedition while we were on vacation last week at Disney. Busted the driver door lock (at least they didn't break the glass), stole her pistol and a bag of tools that I had put in for in case of a roadside emergency. They left Costa sunglasses and a brand new Garmin GPS(the cops took the GPS as evidence, because it had been handled) laying in the seat. None of the items were visible from outside. They hit our truck, a Lincoln Navigator and an F250, all pretty close together.
Bad people are everywhere.

Just had one of these put on my truck: http://www.viper.com...te-Start-System. Supposedly one of the best around, the keyfob will page you when an alarm is triggered.

Definitely why I'm glad that I never leave guns in my vehicles.
