Who all is still doing this?

I know Gram's is still tuning SPS tubes for 29 rounds. Is there anybody else who will still tune mags?

I could, but to be honest, I'd much rather pay somebody else to do it. The Dawson kit will get you up and running with reliable mags, but I'm looking for reliability AND max capacity. The Dawson kit doesn't get you there, especially in big sticks.

That's interesting. I have a friend who has one or two of these, and he's lucky to get 27 rounds in them. Maybe the process has changed? I want to say his are only about 1 year old.

I haven't heard of him before. I will definitely look into this. Thanks for the heads up.

All my SV mags hold a minimum of 29 rounds-easily. No major pressing or banging to get the last one in the mag.

I think if I played with it a little bit, I could get 30.

This is with Dawson, Bolen, and SV bases.

Sounds like Mag Blueprinting will be getting my business. Super nice guy, fast turnaround, and great capacity. I'll let everyone know how they run when they show up.
