I hear it makes a ton of gas, and shoots really flat.

A buddy of mine uses a 147 and lil gun for major in a 38 super. It is actually very flat and soft in his gun. His slide is around 10 ounces.
Alliant 2400 is a bit faster than Hodgdon lil gun.
