I have a Kart in my one of my SS. Great barrel. Incredible accuracy probably due to the fact that it was built by some guy named V. Tripp.

Good info thanks, I have used their easy fit barrels and like them,

Not much talk about Kart on BE, mostly Shuemann and SV barrels are liked here, why I wonder?

Kart is a small shop and more of a "niche" market. Most of their customer base is the bullseye crowd.

The thing that got my attention on them was that they were the actual barrel manufacturer for Les Baer Custom. Don't know if they still are.

A guy I used to shoot with in South Florida had a phenominally accurate 1911 with a Kart barrel. Was gonna get one when I lost my job and shooting went away due to the job and family. Anyway I just found out that Kart was only about 30 minutes from my hometown in southern NC. I could've kicked myself since I could have driven over to get one. I called and talked to one of the techs. They all require fitting but are well worth the trouble..my .02 worth
