Building up an IPDA ESP pistol. Was curious if anyone was running a single right handed thumb safety on a 2011?

Hello: I use one on my STI 2011 I built for ESP. I use a wide Ed Brown one and cut it back some. I also use one on my STI Spartan for CDP. I like them since they are strong and make the grip safety easier to engage. I also have them for backups for my USPSA pistols incase the ambi breaks which they have not yet  Thanks, Eric

I have a Wilson wide single sided extended safety on my limited gun. It is much more solid and I like not having the right side flap there to bother my firing hand. For WHO shooting, I just take the safety off before I transition hands so I don't miss my old ambi at all.

I like ambis because they provide a convenient place to rest my thumb during WHO shooting.
I haven't found another use for them.
