Will Dave repeat?
Or will there be a new champ this year?
Will we see Phil, Todd, Taran or Max claim the title?
Max is going in with two Area back to back wins, is he favored?
What are your thoughts?

No offense to the parties involved, but Dave Sevigny is the "Cliff Walsh" of SS!!
Jerry reclaimed the crown, and so will Robbie!

Robbie is hungry and after last year coming in 2nd at 3 Nationals he is going to be tough to beat. He has a full year on the new knees this time and is down a bunch of weight.
There are a couple of guys that are going to be bringing it, you can't count Dave out. He has something to prove in that last year was not one time hit.
Nils shows up last minute with barrowed gear and and comes in third!?!? (that kid has potential
Max got a new gun with his name on it, kicking butt so far with it.

I think that since Travis is with Para, he may be inclined to shoot Single Stack and take the title.
He is not signed up to shoot, at least not on the self squadding page
neither is Blake
and actually neither is Max, but there is the mystery comp#41 listed on the Super Squad and since Max has said he is shooting it this year one would have to think that is him listed as comp#41.

Boarding for my 3 flt journey to Quincy, IL for the Single Stack Nationals. Should be a fun learning experience and hope to do well. I hear it's a diff type of competition then I a used to. Safe travels to all!
Dave's response to Area 6
Dave Sevigny
95% or so, which on the bright side is fine being that I am 10% off peak right now
Dave Sevigny
Peaking for me is about how consistent I am in delivering the best run on demand in both training and practice.

Lets count them.
OK... that was boringly quick.
Now, lets just count the few that have beat him at a Major with iron sights in the last decade.

Few people on the planet have ever beat TGO with a Single-Stack...at a Major match in the last decade or so.
Lets count them.

In my opinion, the Single Stack Nats/Classic is not a run and gun 32 round field course-ish match, where the younger skinnier guys with much better knees would theoretically have an advantage.I hope Rob wins, but I think the power is with the young bucks now.
I used to be an MD.... Then I took an arrow to the knee. :-P
