It seems like lots of open bottomfeeders are going to the sideways mounts. Why have I not been able to find any pictures of a sight mounted on revolver? Seems like it would drop the dot around 1/2 inch lower than any other mount, but I have not seen one in person to measure for sure. It kind of looks like the sight can be mounted to the kickstand before the mount is attached to the revolver. Anyone have any feedback or reviews of this mount?

Yes, it is the same as the BMT one, the one I posted in that thread was the original prototype that they built which I still use. The final versions are just anodized and milled a little different, all the dimensions are the same though.
