just got a 17lb spring and guiderod from wolff. It is a total different design. How do you install it?
It also came with a stronger striker spring. Should i install that?

Should be the same as the stock one. I have one for my 4inch XD and it was nothing special to install.

The wolff doesn't use a bushing to hold the spring in, they use a spring that expands outward to hold it in the slide.
