I was having a problem with my primer slide assembly returning to battery, and I suspected that I'd simply worn out the little spring that pulls it back in after picking up the primer. I knew about their warranty but figured this wouldn't apply since springs wear out through normal use. I tried to find the part number but it was missing from their online schematic, so I sent them an email of inquiry. Their response was to ask for my address and told me no charge, including shipping.

What I received was not just one spring but two... and both a large and small primer charge bar, a primer washer (that sizable black plate under the charge bar) and various other primer parts. From what I can tell, it's about $60 worth of parts and shipping expense.

And all I asked for was $.50 spring!!!

Wow, I can't speak highly enough of those folks and their products!

I had the same experience. My small primer charge bar was messed up and binding. One day I got fed up, send them an email, and they sent me a new one.

I might had paid more for my Dillon because of the warranty, but I really appreciate the fact that I can just ask for a part here or there, and they send it to me, no bs.

First of all, you paid more for your Dillon cause it's a first class machine. Second was the NO BS warranty.

I fell into a smoking hot deal on a Dillon SL-900 shotgun loader. I didn't get a manual with it so I went to their website and tried to download one. Now I'm a total bozo when it comes to computers and couldn't download the manual or print one. I call the good folks at Dillon to inquire if the manual was indeed downloadable. The gentleman tells me that they sure are but since dopey here is having trouble he would just send me one. And that boys and girls is part of the reason why my loading bench is covered with blue equipment.

I have gotten that kind of service since my first Dillon 550 about 15 years ago. Now I have 3 of them and my GF has one too. I have loaded on just about every progressive out there and could buy any one I wanted. I like the 550s the best. The Dillon presses have the best quality and service.

Exactly why I buy blue stuff. Yeah, I could get a cheaper tumbler, cheaper scale, etc, but Dillon's service and support is priceless. I'm not loyal to very many companies, but I will support Dillon with my wallet and business.

I got my first Dillon back in '83, right about the time they started selling direct. I have since bought three more and numerous accessories (sp?). When it comes to guality, they are #1. I have never had an issue with them and they have sent me more replacement parts than what I have spent with them, notably two (2) primer systems for my 650 when I blew them up. I always go with blue.

Ditto, Called customer service last week, needed the primer bearing/slide plate under the primer pickup bar & a blue tip that slides on the end of the primer tube, drops into the primer pickup cup on the primer bar. Both arrived within a couple days. Dillon blue is my favorite color.
