The Arkansas Section Handgun Championship will be held at CASA from June 1-3, 2012. Staff will shoot on Friday, June 1 and the competitors will shoot on Saturday and Sunday, June 2-3. We will have 12 stages of fire with a little bit of every challenge thrown at you. The match fee is $100 if you get your entry to me before the late fee kicks in. We will be trying online squading this year for the first time. Online squading will open up on March 1. Lunch will be provided to all shooters on Saturday, guests can eat for a fee of around $5+. Prizes will be awarded on Sunday shortly after the match is completed. Plaques will be mailed sometime after they get produced. We have a couple of deals with local Hotels, info below. Please PRINT CLEARLY on your entry form and fill out the Waiver of Liability completely. Every entry must be accompanied by a Waiver. All guests must either bring, or fill out a Waiver when they get to CASA. (you know Lawyers)

I looked at shooting this and then flying on down to DT, but it is just too much time away and too many days off at a time when I don't have them. Last time I was there it rained just a little bit, as in the trails between stages were under 6 inches of water!

Great people and some really nice stages.

We moved the match to June instead of May hoping for drier weather. June is a mucher drier month here.

Believe me, I looked hard at a way to get there this year, your match is SO close together with the DT, one trip would have been nice, but I just can't support the time off this year. I am looking forward to shooting at CASA again someday.

Looks pretty good unless you just shoot the popper
and then have to wait on the swinger to come.
Always nice to have something else to shoot.
Hard to tell with stages on paper though.

I changed the stage so you CAN shoot the static target while waiting for the swinger.

I am opening up online squading in about an hour. Look for an email from USPSA Squading System. You PIN will be included in the email. Follow the instructions and squad yourself. Feel free to change squads if you want. Squading will close on May 24th. Anyone not squaded by the 25th, I will squad you where I need you. This should go over without a hitch, but just in case, remember I am new to this. Contact me if you have any problems. 501-804-4726 cell or rjohnston@aristotle.net Squad size is limited to 11 shooters. If you have a friend sending in their entry form and does not have an email address, have them put your email address in and you can help him squad.
