I was watching one of the Ruger Rim Fire matches on the TV a day or so ago and was wondering if anyone knows what combination pistol B.J. Norris was shooting.

Let's face it, our sport is not for everyone. It is sometimes easier to make excuses than it is to make ready.

Probably his S&W aluminum (or is it scandium) 1911 frame with a Tactical Solution conversion with the no longer available aluminum sleeved barrel.

Scandium last time I looked at it.

Based on conversations I had with him in New Mexico this year you are correct. A single stack S&W 1911 in fact.
