MY PT Iron Shrike has arrived. "YeaH!!!!!!" It looks great and shoots well. Feeds my reloads flawlessly. I look forward putting a lot of well placed rounds down range. Thanks to Roy Neal for talking me into this.

I bought my son one of Matt's double stacks and we have been VERY pleased with the gun. I also got to shoot one of his Shrike's while in Idaho. both guns are spectacular. We had a few light strikes with my son's rig, swapped out the firing pin for an extended pin and have had no troubles since. The PT group building great equipment!

I just ordered an Iron Shrike in .45 ACP with the CompWell after talking thru the build with Brian Gollmer. Got a call from Matt after placing the order, and they're doing their own frames now, so I'm getting a custom serial number--FRAG316! I've always wanted that for a serial number. I'll be relegating the STI Trojan to backup status after I get my Iron Shrike in August. Brian quoted me a three month build time. Can't wait to run it in a few matches at the end of the year. It's my retirement present to myself, so I'm really looking forward to it.

I'll save up a few more pesos and then order A Night Shrike for CCW.

Sparta never forgot its claims on being the "defender of Hellenism" and its Laconic wit. An anecdote has it that when Philip II sent a message to Sparta saying "If I enter Laconia, I will raze Sparta", the Spartans responded with the single, terse reply: "If."[30

I saw one at the Single Stack Nationals. It looked awesome. The owner let me fondle the gun and it was beautiful and had a great trigger. I'd really like to pick one up soon.
