I am in the process of putting together a Buckmark for shooting in the Steel Challenge, Rim Fire Optic Category. I am trying to determine which model to buy that will best accmodate a C-more Optic and Tac Solutions compensated barrel. Any suggestions on which model Buckmark, suggested C-more sight and the mount for the sight would be appreciated.

Allchin makes the best mount for the Buck Mark. Just screw the mount to the receiver and screw the C-More to the mount. Available from Shooters Connection.

Or directly from Allchin.

I ordered two of them, both arrived very quickly.

Any model of Buckmark will do...especially if youre going to put on a TacSol barrel. I do however like he ones that have 'ears' on the slide.

The Allchin mount / C-More slide ride combo is fantastic.

I'd look at a model with a factory aluminum barrel. It may save you some money later.

I ended up going with a Buckmark Lite and I also ordered the Allchin mount and Cmore 7 moa site. I think it is going to work out great.

I had a ton of advice David here on the forum and in conversations with you, Zeb etc. Hope to bring it up Sunday and test it out after the postal match

Only thing I would add to the Buckmark, Cmore, Allchin set up is Barrys (Bearcave) 90 degree mount. It will bolt right on the Allchin mount and gets your C'more sight as close as you can go on the pistol.....very fast.

Well I received my Buckmark Lite, Cmore STS sight and Allchin mount today. I think I must be missing a key ingredient :-) The Mount fits perfectly, but there are no matching holes in the Allchin Mount for the Cmore :-) There must be an adapter or you drill and tap for the sight? Anybody have a picture of your setup with an STS??

The Allchin mount is for the slideride or the railway C-More. It is not for the STS.

A while back, my buckmark used the STS. I have a regular picatinny/weaver mount
http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=16124/Product/BROWNING-BUCKMARK-SCOPE-MOUNT

then I bought an STS weaver style adapter
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/493874/c-more-sts-base-weaver-picatinny-style-rail-mount-matte

Worked perfectly and no problems but eventually, I have to go back to a regular cmore coz I have another project that I needed the STS.

Hello: The Tactical Solutions rail will work for the STS if you get the Weaver rail adapter. I have a like new Tactical Solutions rail for the Buckmark. It is not the rear sight model. Thanks, Eric

What was your opinion of the STS on a Buckmark? I thought small and light would work well.

The STS is a great sight but it is smaller and not adjustable.

So it can be zeroed I see, but by adjustable you mean it only has the 2 dot intensities?
