Hey all,

Just picked up a V12 and im going to start working up some major loads. I have been using Unique and Win 231 for my 9mm minor loads in my limited with great results. I know i need a slow burning powder to work the comp effectively, so i was wondering if anyone tried blue dot? Ill be using a 124gr CMJ round nose. Any advice would be great!

Thanks

I used to use BlueDot a lot when loading 38 Super to major using 115's and 124/5's. It worked well, felt really soft. Never tried it in 9mm major, not sure you can get enough in to the case. For 9mm major I use HS-6.

I forgot about this post, but I settled on 9.8gr of blue dot in a star line super comp brass. 124gr round nose. gives me a 171-173 power factor consistently.
