I just received my fantastic JP stock for my initiation in bolt gun events. my build will be on a Remington 700 with a (medium Palma) barrel.
The gun is not built yet and my bench rest gun smith did some measurements on the clearance for the hand guard and the normal barrel that he cuts. it looks like with the tube that I will have to make the barrel smaller or ....cut into the tube mount , and or mounting holes.

Is this a common thing or am I just special?

Photos of work will be coming up in the next few weeks

OK the lard profile fits into the hand-guard ,no word back yet from my JP email, but they have important things to do so thats OK

The smith put his heavy Palma barrel in my stock and we fit the hand-guard over it for a Close but nice fit. I could still fit a business card between the barrel and the tube near the action area.

Its very cool and nice to handle getting into and out of position on the ground. I don't have my Razor ready to mount on it yet but I will have some photos ready next week

This it my stock with the gun smiths action in 308 20" barrel and a silly little scope just to have something to check cheek weld /point-ability of the gun.

Team Challenge is over and now the Razor 5-20 is on the JP stock with a learners permit in 22-250 action mounted until my custom in 260 is ready. I will bring it to the High Plains event if any-one is interested in a test drive.

Razor with medium rings , the feel is great but I have not shot it yet


I think it would look better with a JP comp

It will accept the AI mags comes with two 10 rounds mags, so its the same price as a AI stock that does not fold.

It looks really awesome!! I wouldn't mind taking the task of breaking it in for you...... I wouldn't want you to get bored with it.
