Make it a general rule to... Never be in another driver's blind spot for any longer than you have to.
Make it a general rule to...
Pay attention to what you are doing, or what is happening.
Know what you are thinking about.
Smile and make eye contact when talking to people in the service industry.
Keep 'em coming...

Similarly, make it a general rule to know if another driver is camped out in your blind spot.

Check my gear the night before a match.
When I arrive at a stage. Fill my belt with FULL mags..... Forgot about that on Tuesday night.
Do my part to move things along
At the end of a stage, never put half empty mags back on my belt. They go in my pocket or bullet bag for refill.
Watch my buddies shoot and congratulate them or give 'em hell for stupid mistakes.
Watch the best shooters shoot and try and pick up on something to copy.
Don't expect to get ALL of my brass back..........why get PO'd when I don't.
After I clean my gun, check all the screws for tightness.....that way my mag button won't fall off AGAIN into the dirt....in the dark.

To not block a side street or driveway when you are in traffic.
Use your rear view mirror. If you are in the left lane, and there is someone behind you, and the middle/right lane is free, move over....I don't care how fast you are going...they want to go faster...let them!
Paste and set steel. It's not "appreciated" by your squad mates, it's expected.

To always live life to the fullest, smelling the flowers, feeling the sunshine, realize that once that moment is gone, if you have experienced it, it really isn't gone, but with you forever.
Edit to add: Make it a general rule....
To watch out for dog poo when walking through the yard....
