Kenny,

After installing the Taylor Freelance basepads on my .40 M&P mags I am only able to load 16 cartridges. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

The legs of the follower are probably hanging on the edge of the extension where the mag tube meets it. Remove the extension and file a little chamfer on the inside edge of the front and rear of the extension, just a little and only do the front and rear, not the sides. Re-install the extension and that should do it. A temporary fix is to fill the mag as far as you can and, while holding pressure on the top round, whack the base on a table and it should make the follower legs jump over the edge of the extension.
