Stock recoil spring/guide rod 158gr
Wolff Steel GR and 14lb spring 444gr
+286gr
Grip Plug 40g
+40gr
Stock mag pad 56gr
Jentra mag pad 125gr
+69gr
Estimate for pieces of grip tape:
+50gr ???
Estimate for Dawson F&R (Adj) sight over stock:
+250gr
2 ounces is 875gr so I think I should be good to go... I should clean the gun to get rid of some soot weight!

As far as I can tell with my limited experience, the only benefit that uncaptured gives you is that it's much easier to change out the springs.are the majority of you then going with the captured or uncaptured? I have thought about this upgrade in the past but couldn't decide which and what the advantage of uncaptured is.

Why not just weigh the gun? I wouldn't go so far as to assume anything.Reading this had me concerned a tad so I weighed some parts.
Stock recoil spring/guide rod 158gr

I don't have an accurate scale for that. I used my powder scale to measure the small parts I posted about.
