I'll start this off with my vote for the Tube Type 40 to 50 mm. I like the large field of view and also I find it easier for me to pick up the dot with the tube of dots. But then again I am not the expert...
Due to some equipment issues, I used a PDP5 (40mm tube), a JPoint, and a Burris Fastfire 2.
I switched to the "doctor type" for the weight advantage and the desire to get outside the scope during transitions.
I found that the supposed weight advantage was no advantage to me and it was slightly easier to obtain and retain the dot with the tube type scope.
When I went back to the "doctor type", they weren't bad, but, I think I prefer the tube (maybe because that was what I had started with back in the day).
I have never tried a C-more.
I think you adapt to what you have. It just doesn't make a lot of difference at my level.
I do know at my advanced age using the dot is a lot easier.

And I believe Dave O. was using a Leupold version of the Fastfire/JPoint style sight at the IRC this year and sounded like he was really happy with it.

30mm tube with variable dot size on the snubby and 35mm tube with tombstone reticle on the Open gun.

The eotech is cool, and I may even try that again, but I think I will be sticking with C more for now.
