Mmmm, XL AR-10 length.... Saves me the hassle of buying the barrel nut and pieces then having a aluminum tube machined to match.

I was wondering if anyone at JP had a pic ofa upper with the XL handgaurd with one of the 14.5in barrels with the Coolie comp.

Sorry, no pictures with it on a 14.5" barreled upper.

Our second batch of XL tubes will be finished shortly so we will now be offering a "JPHG-6A" for Armalite AR-10s, "JPHG-6D" for DPMS LR-308s, and the "TUBE-XL" which is just the tube alone for people that want to swap out the tube on their existing handguard. All are offered only in black.

These are expected to be ready to ship in about two weeks, but we will take pre-orders now. Call and talk specifically to myself or Ben to place a pre-order or you can order the complete handguards on our website, but the tubes alone must be order over the phone. Orders are not charged until they are ready to ship.

Is there an extra-long top rail or do you put a couple of them together?

I dont care for quad rials and I think those JP handguards are great, I also like the way rifles look when the rial extends all the way down the top of the tube...
Anyway, just curious about the picatinny rails...

We do not offer a full length top rail for the XL tube, at least not at this time. All of the other rails work, but come up short from the end.

I'm really glad you posted pics of the rail on a 16" upper I was wanting to see how it looked before I purchased one.
